Norman Doray 2011 was an incredible year for Norman Doray. Bringing his special spark to a clutch of killer productions whilst rocking the best events in the world, he completely smashed it from every angle. Barely stopping throughout the entire year, Norman really stepped up to the next level in 2011 to become one of the most sought-after DJs and producers on the international scene.

Each of Norman's productions was an instant hit last year. His collaborations with Richard Grey on 'Champagne' and David Tort on 'Chase the Sun' were both huge summer anthems, with the latter spending a huge 8 weeks in Beatport's Top 10 chart. Norman also started a new relationship with legendary US label, Strictly Rhythm in 2011. First releasing standout track 'Kalifornia' with the seminal imprint and then following up with the next instalment of their compilation series after mixes by Dirty South and Avicii. Strictly Ibiza to Amsterdam was a huge success for Norman, raising his profile in the US only further.

Norman also had a busy year with big remixes. Alongside remixes for Axtone and Phazing, the amiable Frenchman also delivered impressive reinterpretations of UK artist Tawiah's 'Breakaway' and David Guetta feat. Taio Cruz's 'Bad Little Girl'

On the road, Norman played over 100 gigs throughout last year, touching down on every continent to wow crowds at the world's best clubs. In addition to performing on David Guetta's 2011 UK tour, Norman also appeared on the 2011 Size Matters tour with Steve Angello. Added to that, he engaged in a relentless touring schedule that saw him regularly playing illustrious venues such as MOS in London, Green Valley in Brazil, Ushuaia and Pacha in Ibiza, LIV in Miami, XS in Las Vegas, Playhouse in Los Angeles, Ageha Tokyo and Zouk in Singapore to name only the most recognized. A highly successful summer in Ibiza also saw Norman as a regular guest at F*** Me I'm Famous and Masquerade Motel alongside SHM.

His recent tours of the USA in late 2011 and early 2012 have helped embed Norman into the upper reaches of the most exciting electronic market in the world right now. For 2012, Norman will be undertaking three new residencies in the USA, joining the families at LIV in Miami, XS in Las Vegas and Playhouse in Los Angeles.

2012 looks set to be another prolific year for Norman production-wise too. February will see the release of the eagerly awaited collaboration between Norman, Laidback Luke and Arno Cost, 'Trilogy.' Later in the year there will also be releases on more leading labels with singles already in the bag for Spinnin and Armada Music. Always one for keeping this fresh and up to date, Norman will also be rolling out a brand new clubbing concept throughout 2012. If he was just on a roll last year, then Norman Doray is simply going to be unstoppable throughout 2012. Nothing can possibly get in his way, so just enjoy the ride!
